Stef and Lena with their kids live in San Diego. They are two lesbians show raise four adopted children. Stef has a biological son named Brandon. Two women face a range of problems, including personal and professional. Raising adopted children is associated with a range of issues, including revealing the secrets of the past. Being a couple of lesbians sometimes also cause certain difficulties because not all people are willing to accept such a family.
Season 1 has been met well by critics. It has become the winner of Teen Choice Award as well as the two-time winner of GLAAD Media Awards.
